The house is newly decorated and boasts beamed ceilings, character fireplaces and wooden floors. It has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to eight people plus cot. The house is heated by electric convector heaters. The spacious kitchen is newly fitted and includes oven, microwave, washing machine, fridge (with small freezer) and dishwasher. Large traditional and comfortable lounge with double sofa bed for extra guests. Television and video player, selection of videos to suit all ages. Bathroom with shower over bath, wash basin and bidet. Separate WC. Selection of baby equipment including bath, high chair, cot, toys etc. There are three generously proportioned bedrooms, including one double and two twins. At the entrance to the house is a large courtyard flanked by several unconverted barns providing a truly unspoilt ambience. Formal gardens and a 'meadow' garden beyond, suitable for a variety of sports/activities including the use of BBQ, garden furniture, gazebo, table tennis, bikes for all the family, volley ball, badminton, darts, and large paddling pool. There is a further garden down the road, which borders a river, providing an idyllic and peaceful setting. Fishing available - rod and equipment at the house. Licence available at the local shop. The English speaking caretakers, who live close by, will greet you with the key at the start of your holiday and will be happy to help you during your stay. We regret pets are not allowed. Guests are required to bring their own sheets, pillowcases and towels.
